A Roseville man accused of possessing, producing and distributing child porn is scheduled to appear in court next week, state officials said.

Alishan Devon Harden, 23, has been charged with multiple felonies in connection with the crimes, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said.

Harden was charged in 39th District Court in Roseville with five counts of child porn possession, each a four-year felony; a count of child porn distribution, a seven-year felony; a count of child porn production, a 20-year felony; and using a computer to commit a crime, a 10-year felony.

A judge ordered Harden to be held on a $15,000 bond and scheduled his next court date for next Wednesday for a probable cause conference. A preliminary exam has been scheduled for Nov. 27.

Officials said the attorney general's office received a tip that child sexually abusive materials were being distributed from a computer in Roseville. Police obtained a warrant to trace the computer to a residence where Harden lives, they said.

Investigators obtained another warrant to search Harden's home and seize a laptop. During the search, Harden admitted to using the computer regularly to download and share child sexually abusive material, officials said.
