Ohio State forced a turnover, but then punted it away to Michigan.

Michigan then punted the ball away to midfield.

Dobbins scores again for Buckeyes

J.K. Dobbins continues to pour it on. The Ohio State running back scored again, his fourth touchdown. He now has 211 yards rushing, the fourth OSU player ever to rush for 200 yards against Michigan.

Michigan turns it over on downs again

Ohio State safety Jordan Fuller was called for a targeting penalty on Donovan Peoples-Jones, but the call was overturned.

Michigan turned the ball over on downs for the second straight time.

Mack TD puts nail in Michigan's coffin

That should do it in Ann Arbor as Michigan made It interesting for a bit before falling short on a Wildcat run in the fourth quarter.

Austin Mack caught a slant from Justin Fields and went 16 yards for a touchdown.

Michigan turns ball over on downs after Wildcat

Shea Patterson threw two incompletions then hit Tarik Black for a 9-yard pass. However, Hassan Haskins took a Wildcat snap and was bottled up. Turnover on downs, Ohio State ball deep in Michigan territory.

Michigan takes over down two scores

J.K. Dobbins rushed for 10 yards and then 9 on the second play, as Ohio State attempted to run down the clock.

Then, Chris Olave dropped a possible touchdown pass on a second-and-1. An Ohio State false start forced a third-and-6.

Michigan forced a punt and took over at its own 20-yard line after a touchback.

Michigan scores, still trailing big

Hassan Haskins scored from 2 yards out to keep Michigan's faint hopes alive. After a defensive penalty, Michigan ran it in with a Wildcat play with Haskins, who played through another OSU penalty, a Buckeyes' face mask.

Sean McKeon caught a ball down to the 2-yard line to set up the score.

Hassan Haskins had a 33-yard run to open the latest Michigan drive. Michigan has the ball at the Ohio State 17 to open the fourth quarter.

Michigan settles for FG after drops

Michigan went three-and-out, but Ohio State's Garrett Wilson fumbled the fair catch on the punt.

Jake McCurry recovered the ball at the OSU 26-yard line. He ran in the end zone, but since you can't advance a fumbled punt, the Wolverines got the ball there.

Michigan receivers have dropped a series of passes in the last two drives.

Michigan settled for a 45-yard field goal by Quinn Nordin.

OSU's Fields goes down with injury, returns to throw TD

Quarterback Justin Fields left the game with an injury. Chris Chugunov replaced him. However, upon his return, Fields found Garrett Wilson for a 30-yard touchdown on his first play back.

J.K. Dobbins also was not in the game on the drive.

Michigan can't answer again

After Hassan Haskins opened the drive with a first down, Ronnie Bell caught a pass near midfield for a first down.

The drive stalled in part because of a sack by Jonathan Cooper, and then a drop by Bell.

Will Hart made his debut as a punter (Brad Robbins had been punting in the first half), but the Michigan coverage team made a mess of it. Touchback.

Ohio State extends lead, in total control

K.J. Hill Jr. caught a 6-yard touchdown to open the scoring for Ohio State on the first drive of the third quarter.

J.K. Dobbins took the first play of the second half 41 yards for a big gain to the Michigan 34. He then caught a pass and brought it inside the 15-yard line.

The drive was helped as redshirt freshman Cam McGrone had a late hit on quarterback Justin Fields, in addition to a defensive holding on Lavert Hill on the same play.

Michigan settles for FG after DPJ miss

Donovan Peoples-Jones and Ronnie Bell had big catches as Shea Patterson and Michigan continued to move the ball.

Peoples-Jones then had the ball in his hands in the end zone, but the ball was jarred loose by the OSU defense.

Michigan made a 23-yard field goal by Quinn Nordin with 19 seconds left in the half.

Another mistake gives OSU points, 28-13

J.K. Dobbins scores his third touchdown of the game from 5 yards.

The Michigan defense responded by forcing a punt, with Aidan Hutchinson and Josh Uche tacking a scrambling Justin Fields.

However, the Wolverines gave Ohio State a first down as Khaleke Hudson was offsides.

Garrett Wilson went 47 yards for a pass play on the next play, setting up the score.

Patterson fumbles snap, OSU gets big break

Shea Patterson tried to answer as Michigan is trying to keep up.

However, a promising drive stalled and Patterson fumbled the snap, with Ohio State recovering with Robert Landers making the play in its own red zone.

Nico Collins had a comeback route for a first down, then Ronnie Bell caught another for 16 yards.

Nick Eubanks picked up 34 yards on the first play of the possession after Dobbins' second touchdown.

Dobbins gives OSU 21-13 lead

J.K. Dobbins goes 6 yards untouched to extend Ohio State's lead, his second touchdown.

Garrett Wilson took a short pass and went 41 yards on second-and-19 to set up the score.

The drive was aided by a personal-foul call against Michigan's Carlo Kemp, who took off J.K. Dobbins' shoe after the play.

Justin Fields had a QB sneak for a conversion on third-and-1.

Michigan is staying in with the top-ranked Buckeyes, who have the ball at their own 31.

Donovan Peoples-Jones caught a 25-yard pass from Shea Patterson for a touchdown.

The play was set up by tight end Sean McKeon, who faked a block and went 41 yards on a second-and-1.

Olave goes deep to give OSU 14-6 lead

Chris Olave caught a perfect Justin Fields pass for a 57-yard touchdown. He beat Josh Metellus on the play.

That came after J.K. Dobbins converted a third-and-1 near midfield.

Michigan stalls again, trailing 7-6

Jeff Okudah made two plays to thwart another MIchigan drive.

Donovan Peoples-Jones picked up 20 yards on the first play of the possession on a slant pass from Patterson.

Michigan forces a punt on OSU's second possession

Michigan forced a punt on Ohio State's second possession. Michigan gets the ball in its own territory after a Michigan block in the back on the punt.

Ambry Thomas was on coverage on a second-down incompletion. Justin Fields threw an incomplete pass on third down too.

Ohio State got the ball to its own 45 on the punt, but a penalty moved it back to its 20.

Michigan can't answer OSU's first score

Michigan went three-and-out after the OSU score.

The Wolverines tried a Wildcat play and then Nico Collins caught a ball but was out of bounds at the sideline.

Dobbins leads OSU right back down field

Running back J.K. Dobbins ran in from 5 yards out to give the Buckeyes the lead. He accounted for 79 yards on a 75-yard drive.

The running back picked up a third-and-14 down to the 5-yard line, setting up the score.

Dobbins took the second play from scrimmage 34 yards despite fumbling on the play. He hardly lost a step while recovering the bouncing ball.

Jackson takes end around for score

Giles Jackson took an end around 22 yards for a score, as Sean McKeon sprung him with a nice block.

The Wolverines missed the extra point, as Quinn Nordin misfired.

The drive included first-down passes from Shea Patterson to McKeon, Ronnie Bell and Nick Eubanks.

Ohio State cornerback Shaun Wade did not start. He was a game-time decision.

Report: Ohio State's Pryor stabbed, in critical condition

The big news surrounding the pre-game is the sad news that former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor was stabbed overnight at a Pittsburgh apartment. He's reportedly in critical condition.

The story, reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter, casts a bit of a pall around the game, somewhat similarly to when legendary Michigan coach Bo Schembechler died in the week leading up to the Ohio State game in 2006.

High stakes for 'The Game' once again

Buckle up.

Michigan and Ohio State engage in their annual grudge match Saturday and, as usual, stakes are high in this top-10 showdown. 

The Wolverines are trying to snap a seven-game losing streak in the series, and notch just their second win in 16 tries. The Buckeyes, meanwhile, already have a spot in the Big Ten championship game locked up, but are looking to maintain the No. 1 ranking in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings.
