MLB Draft, Day 3: Tigers take catchers early, four more pitchers in Rounds 11-20

The Detroit News

Detroit — Day 1 brought the drama. Day 2 brought the depth. What's in store for Day 3?

The Tigers, who took high school right-hander Jackson Jobe with the No. 3 overall pick Sunday night, were working early and often Monday. They selected six pitchers and high school shortstop Izaac Pacheco, among others.

Monday featured the second through 10th rounds. Tuesday will be the 11th through 20th.

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred reacts as he is booed by fans during the first round of the 2021 Major League Baseball Draft on Sunday night.
