Recap: NCAA Tournament field revealed

Michigan is in. Michigan State will have to face a familiar foe in the Round of 64. And the Big Ten dominated the NCAA Tournament bracket as it was revealed on Sunday evening, putting nine teams into the Big Dance.

East Region

Baylor, the reigning NCAA champion, is the tournament's fourth and final No. 1 seed.

Indiana makes the tournament's play-in game after erasing a 17-point deficit to beat Michigan in the NCAA tournament and upsetting the No. 1 seed, Illinois.

Midwest Region

Kansas is the tournament's third No. 1 seed, as they lead the Midwest Region.

We have two more big ten teams in the Midwest Region, as Iowa, which just won the Big Ten tournament nearly an hour ago, will face off against Richmond as a No. 5 seed. Wisconsin, meanwhile, gets to play in their home state during its first-round matchup. The 3-seeded Badgers draw Colgate in the Round of 64.

The Wolverines punched their ticket to the Big Dance during the NCAA Selection Show, making the tournament as a No. 11 seed and drawing Colorado State as its first-round opponent. 

Arizona lands the No. 1 seed in the South Region, marking the seventh time that the Wildcats have been the No. 1 seed.

Illinois, who was bounced early from the Big Ten tournament by Indiana, is a No. 4 seed. Ohio State rounds out the Big Ten participation in this region, as the Buckeyes make it as a No. 7 seed.

Michigan State's draws Davidson in the West Region in the Round of 62. If the Spartans are able to top Davidson — led by former Michigan State guard Foster Loyer — on Friday, a potential second-round matchup with Duke looms. We have our first No. 1 seed: The Gonzago Bulldogs lead the West Region.

In Big Ten country, Rutgers had its ticket punched to the dance in making the First Four against Notre Dame.
